Work Experience
The professional experiences that have shaped my growth and defined who I am in the workplace are highlighted here. My journey in environmental advocacy, scientific research, marketing experiences, and behavioral neuroscience has helped me develop a unique perspective in each field. Each opportunity has enhanced my understanding of intricate challenges, whether through hands-on laboratory research, meaningful community engagement, or mastering administrative and marketing processes.
Intern - Ocean Discovery Institute
At Ocean Discovery Institute, I supported the communications and education team by helping design and edit informational materials in Canva, manage Google Classroom and program updates, and assist with outreach initiatives to engage students and families. I also participated in Ocean Leader Wednesdays, helping facilitate community activities and share program resources with students. This experience allowed me to develop my skills in digital communication, branding, and content organization while contributing to the institute’s mission of expanding access to science education in San Diego.
